• A quarter-inch border of the state and the word “home.” in the center of the wall hanging have been carefully carved out in relief; the raised letters of the “home.” inside the state are then painted a gentle white. 
   
• Each plaque is unique. Some have knots, cracks, splits, and other anomalies often found in natural wood.
